We are looking for an experienced events manager with a minimum of 3 years hospitality events experience to join our events team. This is a dynamic and exciting role working across the established and award winning Sheffield events venue The Chimney House and launching and running a new, larger venue, The Mowbray opening in Sheffield early 2018.
You will be responsible for all events as well as creating and running a programme of creative in-house events including music, wellness and food. We are looking for a dedicated, confident, highly organised individual who has great attention to fine detail, excellent customer service skills, experience in team management and a passion for running incredible events. You must also have business development, event systems including financials and marketing skills on your radar as well as an appreciation and ability for interior styling and a great eye for design and style.
As our business revolves around the delivery of excellent food and drink you must have hands on experience in premium food and drink service environments and have a keen interest in restaurants and food as well as to follow and be inspired by the new and innovative.
You must be a go-getting creatively minded events professional who is looking for a dream job working with two iconic Sheffield venues and the creative design team at 93ft. You must be able to demonstrate your passion for events and know how to use your skills to make the most of this expansive and rewarding opportunity to reach new levels in creative event management.
You will also be based at The Chimney House, Kelham Island and The Mowbray, Neepsend. You will also work in the 93ft studio based at The Mowbray, an open plan warehouse studio. All venues are a 10 minute walk from Sheffield city centre.
