We are an independently owned family business offering the chance to be a part of a busy, passionate and creative team. Our events span from private dining to weddings and sell out supper clubs hosted in two restored historic buildings in Neepsend. 

Both venues run multiple, high-volume, bespoke cocktail bars. We stock premium products, and shake, stir and pour an ambitious cocktail, champagne, wine and beer offering for weddings, large parties, dining events, and more! 

You'll be working on the bar at Victoria - a newly opened events cocktail bar - and The Mowbray - a newly refurbished events bar.

We work closely with interesting suppliers, and have a focus on creativity, seasonality and quality when designing and serving our drinks menus.

About You

We're looking for a social, creative individual - with experience behind the bar who is looking to get busy and join a great team - you must be confident in shift management and keyholding, leading the bar team during busy services, talking about brands, drinks and cocktails and able to have good rapport with guests.

The Job

This is the perfect role for anyone who has a great passion for cocktails and hospitality with a clear understanding and enjoyment of this industry. Working hours and shifts are tailored around events - offering a level of flexibility and working patterns plus flexible contracts. 

We proudly curate an ambitious and bespoke menu of specialty barista coffee, interesting wines, unique cocktails, premium spirits and local and international beers, with excellent no and low options. 

We champion seasonality, sustainability, and have very high standards with preparing and producing a lot of our ingredients in house ourselves. We are always keen for like-minded individuals to help deliver, and inform how we shape our offering across venues.

The Role…

We’re looking for an experienced and charismatic Head Bartender to join our team.

We are looking to work with an exceptional individual to develop menus for the events that we run - but also our Cafe Bar - Clubhouse Social - and be involved as we scale up for large events at Victoria and across site at The Mowbray as we develop our outdoor bars in 2026. There is a good chance that this role will quickly develop into Bar Manager role for the right person with targeted bonus'.

This is a hands on leadership role where you’ll combine creativity, skill and precision to deliver exceptional bar experiences for weddings, private dining, parties and corporate events on 2 very busy bars. 

You’ll lead your team with energy and style, ensuring every bar is prepped to perfection, every guest feels looked after and every drink is delicious 

You’ll thrive in fast-paced, high-volume service, keep calm under pressure, and bring a genuine passion for custom cocktails, teamwork and the guest experience.

What we’re looking for…
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in a senior or head bartender role within premium hospitality or events
• Strong cocktail and spirits knowledge -  from classics to creative builds
• Confident leading and motivating a team in a busy, dynamic environment to meet targets
• Excellent communicator and team player with a “yes” mentality
• Punctual, reliable and organised with a keen sense of pace and precision
• Passionate about great drinks, beautiful spaces and memorable experiences
• Flexible and available for both daytime, weekend and evening event shifts

We offer £14.50 per hour
