Events Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable person to join our ever expanding team. 

We are a small, independently owned family business who work incredibly hard and are very proud of what we achieve. 

This is a really exciting role - working as part of a busy, passionate and creative team who host incredible daily events in two of Sheffield's most iconic buildings.

This is a full time role - perfect for entry level candidates. 

About You

To stand out from the crowd you must be a diligent and highly organised individual who values beautiful environments, exacting customer service and who wants to learn, exceed and grow.  

You will have a great eye for detail and a 'get involved' attitude and the ability to think practically to achieve objectives.

This is a role with huge scope that has plenty of room to grow and develop. 

Your day to day will be in two beautiful and creative environments which are busy, bustling, vibrant and very much people centric so we are looking for someone with a passion and commitment for great service and customer experience.

You will also spend time working in the multi award winning design studio 93ft which is based above The Mowbray and where our senior management team are headquartered. 

You must also be a good team player who can support and work with the whole team but who can also work independently.

We are looking for someone who is confident, eager to learn and who is flexible in both time and attitude.

You must be computer literate, be able to demonstrate great organisational skills, great on the phone and be a real people person!

You must also be willing to learn and take instruction and work in a fast paced workspace. Previous experience in sales experience would be desirable and experience of events and hospitality is preferred, but full training would be provided.

The role is to assist the Head of House for both The Chimney House and The Mowbray on a full time basis in the following roles listed below and you will be working with and reporting to senior management. 

The Roles Includes

Daily administration and office duties

Assisting and running events at both The Chimney House and The Mowbray means you must have the ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening and weekends

Assisting and looking after viewings and consultations across both venues

Getting involved in our busy wedding schedule from consultations to planning through to running the 'big day'
