We own and operate three beautifully sustainably restored historic Sheffield events venues - The Chimney House on Kelham Island and The Mowbray - and most recently - Victoria in Neepsend.
Our venues are award winning, exceptional Sheffield events spaces - dedicated to gatherings, socials and celebrating all of life's great times from weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and also corporate events from conferencing to landmark private dining. We are home to our own brand of sell out Supper & Lunch Clubs - as well as creative gatherings alongside other independents - from our Festive Festival to bi-monthly Open Houses. We also have created Clubhouse Social - a Cafe space which we share with our local community.

THE ROLE & YOU
We are looking for a highly personable, friendly, positive person who has at least 3 years proven experience in a Marketing Assistant role to join the team to assist and help further the reach of all three of our venues.
You will be working through our social platforms - as well as three websites to help us reflect the scope of what our venues offer. You’ll need to be experienced in managing busy social media channels and au fait with custom CMS.
You’ll be tasked with working alongside third party platforms to deliver our messages in each genre - which you’ll be able to confidently report back on
Our ideal candidate will also have a great awareness of opportunities and understanding in lifestyle, food, interior, and wedding industries with knowledge of how to make the most of our stories and track record to gain press and creative marketing opportunities. It is expected that you’ll be able to confidently work with contacts Nationally and Locally.
You’ll work flexibly across other parts of the business and be a key part of our sales team assisting with Open Houses and House Events - as well as working on ideas and concepts for House Events and helping us develop our Cafe concept to its maximum potential.
You’ll also be confidently able to conceptualise, collaborate, communicate, host and deliver House Events around Clubhouse Social - as well preparing / running / supporting with event promotion -including listings and PR submissions
Experience in dealing with content - plus data and database management is preferred - to support the planning and scheduling of posts, stories, and newsletters to our wedding client base and main database
You must be able to confidently work as part of a team as well as to work independently on daily/weekly and monthly objectives.
We’re considering either a part time or full time role for the right person - salary based on experience.
This is an 'in person' role - being present at any of the 3 venues and our central office at Victoria.

A marvelously anticipated luxury lifestyle venue that hosts 180 seated and comes complete with a first floor roof garden and commercial kitchens.
Funded entirely by the endeavour from The Mowbray and The Chimney House over we have been able to continue our love affair with restoring historic Sheffield buildings.
After an extensive 4 year restoration and renovation - a building from 1884 has been transformed into a premium event space for all - Victoria presents an exhilarating mix of premium dining and drinking events, matched with lifestyle, business, wellness, music and design alongside a dynamic calendar of seven days a week private hire events on top of the award winning weddings at its heart.
